Heh - he marked down because I was away for Volleyball too.
Eric - don't worry about English - it gets moderated against your essay marks for the half yearly.

I don't think its likely that I'll score full marks or even get 90% in those tasks for the speech to be scaled up to counter the mark loss. And with so much competition (especially from the 1 and 8 classes) my English rank lookseven bleaker for me unfortunately.

I would not call that scary as I have seen ones that are of higher standards.

As of today, I have received:

• 1st in Mathematics Extension 1 (97%)
• 2nd in Mathematics (98%)
• 2nd in Business Studies (92%)
• 2nd in Studies of Religion I (90%)
• 2nd in English Advanced (87%)
• 3rd in Chemistry (86%)
• And expecting top rank/mark for Biology

My results have been 20% over the exams average for each subject.

I am not complaining. However, all my subject results are lower than what I aimed for, except English and Maths where my result were astronomically high in comparison to my cohort.
