you have shitty taste in metal
umm.. k? Wanna explain why? i notice you haven't posted a list of your own.. i've listened to every type of metal over the last few years, and scandinavian death/power metal is the only kind of metal that hasn't gotten boring..(except for cradle)

Tough one, I like too many albums by the same artists.

1. David Bowie - Hunky Dory
2. U2 - Rattle and Hum
3. Radiohead - Ok Computer
4. Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
5. Coldplay - Parachutes
6. Lou Reed - Transformer
7. Muse - Origin of Symmetry
8. The Who - Who's Next
9. Jeff Buckley - Grace
10. U2 - The Joshua Tree
11. Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
12. Radiohead - The Bends
13. David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars
14. Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground & Nico
15. U2 - Achtung Baby
16. Ramones - Ramones
17. Led Zeppelin - IV/Untitled
18. Radiohead - Kid A
19. The Clash - London Calling
20. Led Zeppelin - II
21. Arcade Fire - Funeral
22. Muse - Showbiz
23. U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind
24. Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
25. Oasis - Definitely Maybe

Ok, that was hard, and there's so much more I'd want to add. The list probably sounds cliched too, but they'd be my favourites.

You have greatest hits albums in your list. Your opinion is invalid.

In terms of a top 25, that is damn near impossible - it took me 2 hours to do a top 5 a couple of months ago (And no, I don't feel like spending a furhter 8 hours).

Here's my top 6:

1. Metallica - Master of Puppets.
2. Underoath - Cries of The Past. (Please don't ridicule me for this without actually knowing what this is and having listened to it - this is completely different to anything of theirs that was ever popular)
3. Russian Circles - Enter.
4. Parkway Drive - Killing With A Smile.
5. Lamb Of God - As The Palaces Burn.
6. Between The Buried and Me - Alaska. (Although The Silent Circus is growing on me)

So there you have it. If anyone would like to 'borrow' this album before they go and 'buy' it, things can be arranged.

2: Amon Amarth - Fate Of Norns
3: Amon Amarth - Versus The World

11: Children Of Bodom - Are You Dead Yet?
12: Children Of Bodom - Follow The Reapoer
13: Children Of Bodom - In Your Face
18: Finntroll - Midnattens Widunder
19: Finntroll - Jaktens Tid
20: In Flames - Come Clarity

I can't believe you put parkway drive ahead of this.
Anyway, Alaska's great but I like silent circus more.
Having said that, the title track and Selkies: the endless obsession are gold.
Have you heard the self-titled album?
