In my school certificate I got:

Maths - 74
English - 85
History - 94
Geography - 88
Science - 73

In my HSC I got

Maths - 93
English - 91
Geography - 91
Modern history - 92
Economics - 93

So yeah I reckon that your school certificate is really not a good indication of how you will go in your HSC
