I love anime
but cartoon wise

the best has to be Tom and Jerry - slapstick comedy at its best

I watched the 2nd part of the 1st season of Family Guy this morning, hehe it was hilarious - this quote is classic...

Tom Tucker (news anchor) "and now for our special report on the Clitoris ..... : Natures Rubiks Cube"

But i also love the Simpsons for pure reliability in having something funny and always knowing Channel 10 will never bore of it..
SOuth park has its moments as does Hey Arnold ( except for the movie which was practically a cartoon remake of "The Castle"with the characters substituted)

The Simpsons - the best show ever. I just love the irony and satire and the quotes. Matt Groening is a genious. I've been watching it ever since I can remember and I still love it.

futurama and family guy are the best shows ever.

Vacuum repairman: There you go, all fixed. Turns out a half-eaten meatball was clogging up the intake.
Peter: Oh. Well, did you save it?
Vacuum repairman: Uh, no.
Peter: You bastard

Peter: Ok, here's another riddle. A woman has two children. A homicidal murderer tells her she can only keep one. Which one does she let him kill?
Brian: That's... that's not a riddle. That's ... that's just terrible.
Peter: Wrong, the ugly one!

Peter: Lois, um, go get the medical dictionary and look up "fork" and "lung."
Lois: Why?
Peter: Time is a factor, Lois.
