how come some uni courses go up like 3 marks but others just stay relatively

the same......can u predict if its gonna stay the same or go up further?

well it is like demand and supply in economics
when the preferences r handed in, the uai is majorily determined by how popular the course is (of coz wif a basic uai due to the diffculty of the course)..

this yr's uai overall has dropped due to more places for fee-paying studnets, leads to more money into unis, leads to more places been offered

i also heard they have slightly less 2005ers doing hsc. =|

Precisely. If there is an excess in demand for a course, then the UAI will generally be raised to eliminate the lowest scoring students. If there's an excess in supply of placements for a particular course, then the UAI cutoff will generally be lowered slightly to allow more students to be eligible for the course.

i would love to do Bachelor of Law at Uni of Syd but i know ill never get that cos of the UAI. Other courses i want to do and which are pretty achievable are:

Bachelor of Primary Education at USYD 86.45
Bachelor of Primary Education At UTS 78.00
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of education at UNSW 75.00
