Cause of all the covid repercussions like job cuts and much lower numbers of international students uni's have to get the money from somewhere right? Would they be letting more people in?

they're saying it might be easier due to less international students but no one knows for sure. obviously they'd be losing millions of dollars bc the Go8 unis rely heavily on international students so tbh I don't think it'll be easier
there have been heaps of job cuts for professors at unis so wouldn't this make it harder for us to get into certain courses cus they're wiping out whole faculties...

I'm in uni and if some unis are offering spots based on year 11 results, then that could be an indicator as to the difficulty of getting accepted into your desired course. Some unis may have made it slightly easier for you to get accepted, but that doesn't guarantee that the rest of the unis are prepared to adopt a similar approach.

When unis make you an early offer, it's because they are desperate to fill their classes. Don't think it's because you are great or something.
