that’s good, I think you’re capable of gaining a spot, at the end of this year, your sem2 reports should show some improvement from sem1 if your sem1 reports were not too good

well my friends who have tried out all have gotten in or shortlisted for edutest, and the scholarship tests are styled very similarly to the edutest; with hard questions and time constraints unlike the edutest. The edutest practice tests is just a platform to waste your money, because all applicants will purchase it to study, but there’s no real effort put in to make quality tests that’s are useful

I actually did use that tutoring this year but honestly it's not that useful like you can do without it
Thanks for sharing your feedback! Just to add some context, I think you joined us a little bit late to prepare well for the exam, as you joined during term 2 holidays and the holiday course exam program(no lessons in term 3 also), rather than the weekly lessons with notes and techniques that had already been running since the start of Term 1. The EduTest is a skills- and aptitude-based exam, which really requires consistent practice over a long period of time time rather than short-term cramming, so the students who build up gradually across the year tend to see the most benefit. EduTest is an exam that shouldn't be crammed, since it requires time to build those skills and time management.

This year we’ve had students receive offers to James Ruse and Baulkham Hills for Year 9 entry, and even top 3 EduTest exam ranking for Y8 James Ruse entry.

Hi I do think that I was rushing to prepare a bit but if I do sit the exam next year I will consider professional tutoring if I really have to
