Hey fellow Year 10s, I thought it would be a good idea to start a discussion about what we've chosen to do next year. Some of us have already handed in their subject forms and some of us will pretty soon. I handed my form in just yesterday so I'll list what I've chosen:

English Advanced (2)
Mathematics (2)
Business Studies (2)
Biology (2)
Geography (2)
Economics (2)

TOTAL UNITS = 12

I'm particularly looking forward to doing economics.

What about everyone else?

I'm not quite sure yet,
so far:
English Extension 1 (3)
Mathematics (2)
Chemistry (2)
Economics (2)
Modern History (2)
Catholic Studies (1)

My math Teacher is trying to pressure me into doing Ext 2 because I came 3rd.
Any advice, should I do it?
or will that be a little overwhelming considering the amount of essay writing I'll be doing with english, economics and modern?

HELP!

ugh TVET accounting..easy but so boring.

I dread going to tafe now..

Economics is quite difficult..but since your doing pretty advanced subjects i'm sure you'll do fine. If you pick TVET accounting you should definantly not drop it in year 12 as the HSC for TVET accounting is the first term of year 12.

I'm thinking along the lines of:
- English Advanced
- English Extension 1
- Society and Culture
- Visual Arts
- Legal Studies
- CAFS
- SOR1/2

I thought it was a requirement to do the preliminary couse for modern history to be able to complete the HSC course?

There's nobody in my grade at school who is accelerating in any school subject so I dont really know much about it. There's a year 9 class who is doing the year 10 maths course..thats about all the acceleration our school has i think.

yeah ive heard quite a few people saying its a requirement too!

but the history HT at my school said that i can just skip it and he thinks i've got the drive and motivation to do really well in it.

but yeah, it'll be a lot of hard work. but i suppose im up for it : )
