Can anyone give me any dental practices, chemists or universities places offering work experience ?

Usually the easiest way is via family connections or people you know, but the best way is to cold contact the companies. For example you can email a hospital with details and your background then ask kindly for some experience and why, etc.

Don't know what area you're in but Cincotta Chemists tend to accept students for work experience. I signed up pretty late too, if you have trouble finding placements elsewhere.

I did my work experience at Macq Uni Hospital - spent my placement shadowing a nurse in the orthopaedics ward. It was a pretty worthwhile experience!
