Writing Chem notes is fustrating me becos..... (1 Viewer)

i dont have a clue how to write up equations with Microsoft Word ... Anyone's help will be appreciated

for example... on Word, how would i write 2(Na)2 (little 2 down bottom)+ (+ion)

no idea and i need help immediately if i am to finish writing notes b4 1/2 yearly

Using Microsoft Word, you highlight what you want placed at the top or bottom, right click and font.

Subscript for the "little 2"
Superscript for the "+ ion"

Sorry i cannot explain better but hope this helps

ok thanks... that has already made it so much easier... u dont know how long i was tryin to figure it out lol

does any1 know any keyboard shortcuts for this ??? as that would continue to make studyin so much easier ......

I also agree, it's just time consuming and probably tedious to type out equations just so they look good for learning. Thumbs up for handwritten notes/equations! :D

yup, also handwritten, you can draw diagrams to help ur understanding better :)!

ctrl and shift and + (superscript)
ctrl and + (subscript)
easy way to switch between them in word, tho handwriting is far quicker and easier
