Writing an essay in 40 minutes!!! (1 Viewer)

I've been timing myself of how long each text takes me to write, and I've got it down to about 8 or 9 minutes per text, which leaves a couple of minutes on either end for the intro and concl. But...somehow i always end up going about 45 minutes.
I'm doing s3 first, followed by s1, then s2 last cause its easy to end a creative story quickly if you have to..
how're you guys tackling the exam?

its easy to gain the first 50% of ur marks rather then the last 50%, for example, its better to start the paper and go on to a new question if u dont have time to finish it, thats wat i do wen i cant write in 40 mins

cut time from ur creative writing to fit the essay in? thats what i do...cause i kinda like creative :)

my teacher is trying to get us to do 1000 words per essay on paper 2 (thats 25/wpm WRITTEN) my mums a fast typer and she averages around 60+wpm. you miss a minute thats 50 wpm you have to catch up on the next. stupid really. i only manage around 3 pages for each essay
