Re: Would you join a poltical party
No!! labor and Liberals are not the same. this is for one big major difference between Labor and the Liberals.
Liberals support businesses great and small
Labor supports employees, well just small
Labor seems to think money grows on trees because it has been so freakin’ long that they have been in power that they want everyone’s favour to go towards, even though they are placing Australia into deficit. This is what rudd’s doing now.
Liberal saves up money and keeps the spending in check whilst making sure there is no imbalance. This is mostly thanks to Peter Costello and his brilliancy as being a treasurer. However, please note this is a biased opinion.
However, there is one gigantic singularity in politics. They are all ruled by men in the last century who are conservative, white, and realise one thing, you can’t do much in parliament. I mean, let us have a peek at Peter Garett, the great environmentalist. He went into politics to try and change things and yet look where he is now. He cannot do anything because of:
a) all the old conservative men who don’t believe we are not polluting our environment
b) how long the process takes.
However, there is another factor into politics. Public relations. Majority of our nation believe if you look smart, you must be smart. If you make them happy by giving them all money even though you are chucking the Australian economy down the bin, then you have their support.
But liberals have another thing going for them during this recession. They go for the businesses. Employees have practically no power especially the workers on wages in whether they are fired or not and everyone is desperate for jobs. Businesses should be stimulated instead of the employees and this is exactly what Labor is doing. However, this is practically the same policy as the liberals though the whole liberal party is completely stuffed up so there is no help from that section. So, Labor has in fact combined Liberal policies with Labor policies, making them Laboral. However, even though everything may seem moderated, it isn’t as much. The only reason it looks so because of the public votes and public opinion. This is why so many policies seem moderate, as the overall attitude of Australia is moderate. So, even though you have generalised it, you are still correct but as I learnt from SHODAN, don’t write at 11:00 and not think what you are saying because you really don’t care.
Thankyou SHODAN for pointing out that I seem to have generalised beforehand commenting on someone who generalised though in retrospect is kind of correct but as mine was sort of correct, it was still generalised, or that’s what I’m thinking just know about what everyone is trying to tell me.
Smiletime, thankyou for supporting me, in a way.
Kwayera, WHERE ON EARTH WERE YOU AND IF EVERYONE ELSE SAYS IT IS FREAKIN’ STUPID AND GENERALISED, WHAT TYPE OF SUPPORTER ARE YOU!!! Yay! Rainbows of gold and other such balderdash does not mean you do not freakin’ CRITICISE ME!!
SORRY FOR STUPID REMARKS AND I WILL TRY MY BEST FROM NOW ON TO BE NOT INFLUENCED BY PEOPLE WHO CAN NEITHER SUPPORT NOR AT LEAST BE CYNICAL.
Thankyou SHODAN and Smiletime
by the way, what on earth does SHODAN stand for?
and here is your essay.
okay, let's do this properly!Really. i mean REALLY!!!! how dare you generalise politics like that in such an arrogant, ignorant, and incredibly blinded statement. The liberals all go for the small businesses and the fact that they actually do not put gigantic debts on australia's budget as a "hey, lets spend money because we have some" policy like the Labor party who are practically leaning towards communism. i mean, john howard's cabinet was freakin' awesome. the treasurer that hid some money from johnny to keep us in a good spot in case of a recession like i don't know, NOW!!! the leader that jogs and does not have a corrupt businesswoman that has extremely bad tastes in fashion and body shapes as a wife. of course the reason why liberals are better is that they are at least more efficient than labor. then there is the other idiots that can be summed up in this great political joke:
New political element has been discovered
Investigators at a major research institution have discovered the heaviest element known to science. This startling new discovery has been tentatively named Administratium (Ad). This new element has no protons or electrons, thus having an atomic number of 0. It does, however, have 1 neutron, 125 assistant neutrons, 75 vice neutrons, and 111 assistant vice neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.
These 312 particles are held together by a force called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since it has no electrons, Administratium is inert. However, it can be detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.
According to the discoverers, a minute amount of Administratium causes one reaction to take over four days to complete when it would normally take less than a second. Administratium has a normal half-life of approximately three years; it does not decay but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons, vice neutrons, and assistant vice neutrons exchange places.
In fact, an Administratium sample's mass will actually increase over time, since with each reorganization some of the morons inevitably become neutrons, forming new isotopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to speculate that Administratium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as the "Critical Morass".
and by the by, why should such a bureaucratic system such as ours or the stupid american's die? i mean, would you prefer chaos or such nitpickiness that borders on a crossbreed of a mother hen and Sheldon from the sitcom "the big bang theory" on channel 9.
also, dictatorship is the leas bureaucratic and therefore the best however it only seems to be full of egomaniacal crazy people. such a risky system, yet so addictive.(shudder)
in addition, lol, because labor and liberal seem to be so similar yet so different.
