apart from textbooks do we need any workbooks or notebooks like for lectures and stuff?

cos i'm lost :(

For some subjects, you can buy/print lecture notes. But the lecturers will inform you of this when uni begins.

its up to you what u want to take notes on... thats if u want to take notes at all.

Most lecturers post online their powerpoint notes for u to download and take into lectures.

A4 writing paper and a folder always comes in handy though

Personally, I prefer a note pad because I'm really messy. I tried to write everything neatly in a book, but it just didn't work.

Same. I have a separate display folder for each unit of study. I use lecture pads for writing.

It's very neat, provided you keep them dated/stapled/bunched properly.

i think i'll get some notebooks, since my writing can be pretty awful when rushed

yeah whatever's easiest for you. i have a lecture pad for each subject. but some prefer to print off the notes from the net and write all over them during the lecture. meh. just size it up on the first week, you'll get the jist.
