Posting. Placement was good today, as usual. Much less busy, but that's a lot better. Hoping we can rent a car for the weekend--price seems ok if we split between the 5 of us. Cheapest car we could find is $120 and the under 25 premium is $30/day, plus petrol which is just over $200, then split between the 5 of us and it's not too bad per person.

Hey wixxy2348, thanks heaps for your advice and help, I just needed confirmation as to whether I was correct or not.

So are you really a woolies person? You also go to USYD? Good on you man. Because if you are, that just tells me that there really is no point in enrolling for certificate 2 in retail since I'll learn all this on the job at coles or something hey? And even if I wanted to go to TAFE later on - I can asks the manager or something to apply for a app./trainee. if I wanted to move up my position by going TAFE a little and working there still..

I work part time at Woolies, but I attend Notre Dame (in spite of the fact that I post in here).

As well as asking managers for apprenticeship/traineeship opportunities externally, you can also complete a lot of your Retail Management certificates internally (through Woolies).
