Will the calculus-based mathematics HSC papers have multiple choice questions? (1 Viewer)

Are the 2010, 2011 and beyond calculus-based NSW Higher School Certificate mathematics external HSC examination papers (Mathematics, Mathematics Extension 1 and Mathematics Extension 2) going to have multiple choice or constrained response questions? Will all the courses have papers that include multiple choice questions? Or will it only be one or two of the courses?

Those were changes proposed but not implemented. 2010 and 2011 HSC students won't even be doing a different Mathematics course.

Non-general maths is now referred to as 'calculus based'?

And here I was thinking that 'calculus' stopped being a high octane and arcane word used in highschool dramas.

They are also commonly referred to as "University-Entrance" courses.

I've never heard a teacher refer to it as that...
