Will 2unit math count towards my atar? (1 Viewer)

Maths is my absolute worst subject. I'm ranked somewhere in bottom 5, i've been getting like 20% in every assessment, math is just not my thing, i regret choosing it, should have done general math

I also do these subjects:

english standard
chemistry
physics
biology
business studies

I'm ranked in the top 10-30% for these subjects and i'm doing fairly well in them but will math be counted towards my atar? It is the best top 10 units including 2 units of english correct? but people from my school keep telling me it will be counted because math is important. Someone please ease my mind! I really don't want it to count towards my atar! Thank you!

depends how well you do, in your HSC exam, if you do will in you 10 best units, then only those 10 best units will count. so if maths is your weakest subject, don't worry, just move on, you still have your best 10 units, which will contribute towards your Atar. Focus on you 10 bets units, try to ace the HSC exam.

Okay so I just researched and it says that no more than 2 units of category subjects will be counted. I don't do any category B subjects, so math 2unit won't count if it is my worst subject. THANK YOU Jaycoo50! SO HAPPY

haha cookie i'm literally in the same boat as you, maths is by far my worst subject and for a long time i too was panicking, until i realized it won't count, so that was a load off my shoulders
