it's kinda basic knowledge questions based on the government, constitution, the flag and national anthem- stuff they think you should know about australia and you probably covered in the syllabus. there were hardly any of these types of questions in my sc last year maybe only one or two in the multiple choice.

It's just part of the course, essentially so that the Board of Studies can say that the NSW syllabus teaches people to be good and helpful citizens. The questions are essentially along the lines of: 'What is an example of good citizenship' with pretty obvious answers i.e. Getting involved in the community and voicing your views and opinions. Generally the questions are very straightforward but if you're worried or confused you can take a look at past SC papers (Generally the Geography and History Multiple Choice; to my knowledge they never have questions other than MC on civics and citizenship) and practice them/have a look at them. The questions don't ask a lot of you; they're usually pretty basic.
