i love them, they make my legs longer, and me taller. i walk on my tippy toes when i'm not wearing them anyways so i'm sorta used to it but it's hard to dance in them.

you wear high heels lengy?

12 hours.

My uncle's wedding. 2pm to 2am. They were fucking high too.

um...like 4 hours or something at my yr 12 formal. they hurt but they were so hot that i resisted taking them off until i literally couldnt stand wearing them anymore...by which time everyone else had ditched their shoes too, so it was all good.

i remember wearing a pair in the city... we walked for hours and hours... i almost started crying... i seriously felt like i was walking on hot coals... i can still remember the pain lol ...

Yeah, that's not really a good look...The whole, "I'm in utter agony" look.

=P I know what you mean by the pain though, it's so bad. When you take them off, they still hurt for a while. And sometimes you get the pain the day after as well...man...

lucky i dont have to resort to that dilemma, because for me, the number 1 factor in buying shoes is the comfy factor

EDIT: but I don't wear heels that often, because I don't want to hurt my back... I care more about comfort . Besides, I hate being taller than some hot guys!

heels kill! i dont under stand how anyone could stand them

they kill when you dance in them thats for sure. don't dance for extended periods of time in 4inch heels, it's fucking painful. I learned it the hard way on saturday...pretty much on every other occassion i've worn flats or low heels or just danced without shoes on but i felt like being hawt in these heels...it didnt work out. plus with their towering heel-age they made me taller than half the guys in the room :s which just felt weird.

When you wear heels consistently for awhile the pain certainly lessens because you basically get used to them.

I can wear three inchers for a night out without it hurting at all. Dancing, walking, everything.

This is also because I wore heels to work most days during the summer holidays. The first two weeks are horrendous but after that it's smooth sailing.

I have one pair of rather low heels that are perfect for dancing in... but my other pairs kill... with heels, would you all say that the key to comfort is
a) heel height
b) overall make of the shoe
c) practice
???
