Spreadsheets are used in a wide range of professional settings, esp. in financial organisations, and digital spreadsheets, like those in Excel, are often similarly organised to tables in databases. They are also very powerful tools when trying to manipulate data, especially with the formulas that are built in them. So keep learning about them spreadsheets!
