Hey,

After 2 exams in a row.. my hands are really starting to hurt and got another exam tommorow.. ahh..

Is anyone else experience RSI symptoms due to writing in the HSC exams ?

i got it before english exams from rewriting essays and i couldnt move my hand without it killing me for like a week

Our study centre chairs are the new padded type....so we don't generally get chair discomfort during exams.

Our classroom ones are the normal type but I never found them that uncomfortable, only sweaty in summer yurk....

My back is screwed enough already, without having to sit for three hours on such hard chairs.

But with the writing thing, I get a lump in my right-hand thumb when I write alot, it looks disgusting and its quite painful.

loz, with your lump, i get a huge hollow on my middle finger of my left hand (yes, im cacky) where my pen sits as i write. it too is disgusting...and a lot of the time i somehow manage to get ink in the hollow, so it looks even weirder

They're bloody painful but you know you have to keep writing which makes it worse.
