i guess i was ready cause i was expecting it
basically his contributions to special relativity-
e=mc^2 (later proved by nuclear reactors)
time dilation (later proved by muons and atomic clocks)
mass dilation (later proved by particle accelerators)
length contraction (described by lorentz proved by mouns)
his predictions leading to inventions and their impact on society and his predictions and their impact on scientific thinking of the era
ie. classical physics --> quantum physics which led into my arguement for
his contribution to quantum physics
which is essentially reinterating planks postulations but by going into detail and also giving reason for the occurance of black body's and the occurance of the photoelectric effect
also his contribution towards brownian motion in confirming the EM nature of light and also his thought on the duality of light
finally how his contributions to quantum mehcanics and physics led to enhanced sicentific thinking and how thats impacted in society..
i'm expecting 8 marks here... see how it goes

yeh i just talked about how he extended classical newtonian physics...
time,lenght and mass where relative, and light was constant... the opposite to newtonian physics
he said light of high frequency determined the release of photoelectrons, and the energy of an photon, whereas classical physics said that it was due to intensity

so i guess as a result in change of scientific thought, society changed.

e.g. solar cells then lead to knowledge about p-type /n-type then lead to transsistors then lead to computers etc...

did anyone else mention how einstein used his influence to promote de broglie's work, meaning that it was considered seriously by other scientists (definitely a change in scientific thinking?)

bose-einstein statistics for bosons, he corrected/clarified Bose's slight misconception when bose explained/ derived the planck distribution rigoroursly
