lol you just assigned the socialists and Greens to Labor.

But yeah, pretty representative of the Australian electorate in general. Except young people split much more for Greens instead of Labor.

I don't think so.

I think people are getting sick of Rudd tbh. BoS polls are never accurate representations of the populations... because the majority of the members are left-wing hippies.

As a result they always sway Labor... or need I remind you of the Howard/Latham poll which put Latham far ahead... how people could vote for that brute, that bully is completely beyond me.

Q.E.D.

Check actual polls you dickhead.

Honestly, is thinking before you post seriously that hard for you?

Edit: Since I know you're not going to bother, let me do it for you:

Essential Research: 58-42 for Labor
Morgan: 59.5-40.5 for Labor
Newspoll: 55-45 for Labor
ACNielson: 55-45 for Labor
Galaxy: 55-45 for Labor

I know what the polls say. I also know that polls are not often that accurate.

I hate to say this, but 'the only poll that counts is the election.'

We'll see Trefoil, but I think you'd be surprised if there was an election tomorrow. Rudd is losing popularity, and so he should be.

Nah, polls have a high degree of accuracy in Australia (and America, too) within their margin of error (typically 2% or 3%), and especially if all different polls are averaged. Feel free to check their electoral history, you'll find you're quite wrong.

"the only poll that counts is the election."

The last person I heard say that was John McCain.

The look on your face would be priceless, but not surprising.

Nup. I call it the Alexdore993 Effect - when people get into the electoral box, their hidden and deeply concealed anti-Rudd feelings emerge. That's why it's hasn't turned up in the polls.

Haven't you heard of this before? Wikipedia it. (but in the next 3 seconds before it's deleted.)

EDIT: too late.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but what a waste of a vote.

Even the name of the Greens leader, Bob Brown, rings of hypocrisy.

I wouldn't call those 5 Greens senators in parliament who are blocking the Internet filter a waste of a vote, but nice try.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.

Though Turnbull's more competent than Swan, Smith and Rudd combined. As for global warming, even if the problem actually existed, Rudd's plan wouldn't theoretically say goodbye to global warming either.

For Australians, global warming shouldn't be a major policy changer, because Australia don't have the potential to make much of a difference at all, where global warming is concerned. Firstly because our own carbon emissions are quite small in relation to other powers and secondly, because the world has been cooling since 1998, not warming.

I think there should be more information directed at the public as to what the different parties actually stand for.
