Who went to the uni info days? (1 Viewer)

I went to UTS, USYD and UNSW.

Hey, this is in the 'general discussion on the 2006 hsc' section, so maybe i shouldn't be posting here? Anyway.

I went to USYD only, as almost all of my preferences are there, i had no idea macquarie's was on the same day... i skipped UTS and UNSW because i already went to their open days last year, and i made up my mind about them there. It was very helpful, especially when we got to speak to lecturers and students in MacLaurin Hall... much more detailed and educated questions than i could have asked on open day just after trial hsc exams in 2005. I really love USYD , this was about my fourth or fifth time there, i know merewether and carslaw lecture buildings pretty well... maybe i should have visited the new Economics and Business building as well? Meh.

I thought the chem lecture place was really cool though, with the small tables that swung out. !!

and the chemistry lecture was really good.

I went to USYD. I shouldve went to uts for a while since it was close by. I got out of sydney by 12.
There were lots of freebies everywhere.

The meet up was pretty good, we went to uts and usyd in the morning, then went back to city.

I actually got up and went to the Open day on a rainy day, how awesome. On the whole: Usyd was more lively(bands & music) and UNSW wasn't. Usyd-Pharmcy you could talk 1 on 1 whereas the Engineering Faculty there was a lecturer. At UNSW you could talk 1 on 1 at the last minute which was nice.

i wanted to go to unsw to check out the commerce course. as it didn't really appeal to me at usyd nor at uts.
