Just curious as this is quite an underutilised subsection... :eek2:

I am doing it in the 2015 HSC, I think it is underused because general maths is pretty easy so less questions need to be asked plus many general students don't care / try hard so they wouldn't be on here

I am doing it! I would say general isn't the hardest subject ever, but it does have its moments haha. I don't post much because most answers to my questions are easily found, but if people do post ill happily post :)

Maths Quest but so many of the answers are wrong cause they rushed the textbook haha. We also have booklets from our teachers.

Using HSC Cambridge General Maths its pretty good I'd say
Cambridge for General Mathematics doesn't have a good range of the 'difficult' questions, so doesn't prepare one as well for the hardier questions, I'd recommend getting access to mathsquest/ncm

Using Oxford Insight. Would you say this is a good book?
Estimating area using grid squares-Only textbook I've seen which has it

Haven't been able to see many subchapters, so can't vouch for overall quality..

the Cambridge n excel are really good for general maths. Both books provide a range of different questions and they explain the questions really well. our school uses new century and it isn't that good and a lot of answers are wrong in it. which is why we use excel and Cambridge at times.
