hey i seriously doubt anyone can finish anyone of the papers in an hour? except maybe the VET ones or D+T from what i've heard lol. But chem no way, couldnt finish in an hour...and do well anyways. I reckon the people leavin after an hour are just the ones who've done as much as possible but r screwed 4 the rest and cant do it so theres no point hangin around

so it was compulsory to stay the whole 3 hrs in ur school?
which school are you referring to? in my school you have to be in the exam room for a minimum of an hour.

in the ext maths exam, a guy came in half an hour late, just to attend the exam, had no intention of getting anything done.....did some crap for like 20 mins, and asked if he could leave, he said he was finished, the supervisor made him wait for a hour...lol. he was sleeping, literally.

No one at our school had the balls to leave early. I don't think anyone did. Its not worth it. Most times, you can at least improve your answers. I just went through the exam really slowly, because for the Term 2s and the Trials, I always finsihed with about an hour and a half to go.

Fair few ppl at my school left early, me being one of them, but I only left half hour early, others left about an hour early, was overall a very easy exam.

One person left our exam early out of like 90+. I'm from a selective high school so its weird for us to even have one person leave early.

I think at most a few people went to the toilet. In the trials, in the last 1 hour or so practically the whole grade got up at one point or another just to take a break because we were allowed to leave. Today I was only aware of a few people getting up (But I guess I wasn't really counting)

At our school we have never been allowed to eave early from an exam...
Including our HSC everyone has to stay for the entire 3 hours....

But it really doesn't effect any one, we thought it was the same for every one but then found out otherwise...

i got to a private school, though so they are heaps tight on the rules...

Only one girl left early in my school - the chick behind me. I don't think she wen't that well though cuz she kept muttering "Oh shit. Shit, shit, shit" every 10 minutes or so. For some reason it cracked me up... it was just the way she said it lol. She left an hour early.

My class has 8 in it, and there was a tafe girl at the exam too, and only she left early. I think it something to do with the fact that our teacher is so horrible that anyone who doesn't either love chem or need it for uni dropped it. We had a full class at the start of yr11.

I left about 30-40 minutes early, and was the only accelerant to leave. I think about 4 year 12s left, one after an hour, the other two similar to me.

But, I did all I could, I'm doing it next year, so it doesn't phase me so much.

shouldn't it be the same for every school? i see different schools have different policies in areas other than leaving early too.

I always thought there were specific Board of Studies rules that said you can leave after teh first hour, and not in last 15 minutes, but my class didn't get told anything about procedures or anything.

Out of our class of four, one left early. The one who's been getting, like, 12 for the assignments while the other 3 of us get 90s. So no real surprises there.
