They have different times because of the large number of candidates and can't possibly fit everyone into the venues they have.miss-smexy said:why do they have dif times? wouldnt it make it unfair for some candidates then?
Yes and no, there are two different exams set for the two different times, however they are closely based on each other to keep it as fair as possible.
From what i know and what i have discussed with others, I think they are trying to infer that the use of a stopwatch is prohibited because it would be annoying if they started to go off and the beeping they make while setting up the time is a distraction, i suggest you bring a watch and see how much time u have left, also they will give a ten minute warning before the end of each section.xxJTxx said:I'm also in Glebe at the Wentworth Park Function Centre. And omg. 8am? Does the test start at 8am? Or registration? I think i'll just get there at like 7am lol..which means I have to be up at like 5am and on a train by like 6am rofl. That's insane!!!
GUYS! CRISIS!
CAN WE TAKE A STOPWATCH? Page 13 says stopwatch is prohibited. Do they mean like a fitness style stopwatch, one that you like hang around your neck? Can't you take a stopwatch that is like a watch, on your wrist, with a stopwatch function???????? SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE THE UMAT BEFORE AND KNOWS TELL ME!!!!
