just wondering: with doing a law degree, what other occupations and professions does it open up, not just a lawyer job....

wowww....*just of the top of my mind*....... if you do a law degree is it best to become a lawyer/barrister or is it a waste to do something else like in that list when u have that degree?

Most of the items will require you to be admitted as a Legal Practitioner, so the same process for pretty much all apply.
