Hey pps,
Just wondering....who here had really large gaps between their internal and external marks? I know a friend of mine who had like 16 mark gaps between internal and external ( ie she did better in her externals then internals)

I did for english, which really surprised and upset me. I've always done better in exams, but apparantly I did much worse in the actual HSC then I did in my trial D=

friend; 48/50 for internal ee2, 24/50 external
English Ext 2 can be a very contentious subject though, as it only takes a single external marker to not "get" the major work and you could receive a poor mark. Still, 24 marks in an extension course is a massive difference, that must suck :(

Advanced English 84 for both.
SOR 43 for exam, 42 for assessment.
Business 81 for exam, 84 for assessment.
Economics 72 for exam, 73 for assessment.
Food Tech 84 for exam, 85 for assessment.
Ancient 86 for exam, 81 for assessment.

So just a 5 mark gap was my biggest. I guess that's considerable, but not big.

Only two subjects varied for me, one by 2, one by 1. At least i know exam stress didnt get to me as much as i thought it did.

Mine were actually very similar. Either the same give or take 1 mark, or I done better in e xternals than internals.
