im doing the multimedia focus and my project is just about complete. it's a commercial website for a fictional interior design company.

please tell me more about graphics and your major work!

i've designed a house aimed at youths. i made working drawings of it on cad, interior perspectives on 3ds max and a model with bulsa wood. how's your folio?

i would've loved to learn 3ds max
we learnt powerpoint (uggh!), frontpage and director
i went my own way using dreamweaver...

my folio is done, my marker is coming on the 26th of august..
i just gotta stick in title pages and other things to dress it up

my teacher didn't teach us anything. i learned everything on my own. even had to buy a book for 3ds max.

my folio is 98% done. i just need to fix a few small mistakes up.

what notes has your teacher given you? coz i'm in desperate need of notes. my teacher is really pathetic. he just sits on his desk and stares into space.

my teacher has basically photocopied slabs off a book called "Multimedia-Making it work" by some guy with a surname of Vaughan i think.. not terribly useful as the book is quite old..

oh ic ic. have you got anything about the industry part of the syllabus?

would you happen to know how tough the markers are? like is it easy to get 58/60 or close to that?

There's a common section in the exam about business and planning etc.. I had a look at the standard package and section 1 is quite similar across the board and section 2 being the focus..

ask your teacher to have a look at the package, its shows the standard of answers required for band 6, the folio and the actual project.

yeh i was looking for the industrial technology graphics package on my school's database and it wasn't there. i'll have to go and ask my teacher.

so on the disk they actually had examples of major projects?

they had sample exam responses, sample folios and actual major works but only of wood industry from what the package had.

so there were alot of coffee tables and shelfs etc. but very good ones.

the standards are quite impressive in the level of detail and work.

hmmm... alright.

i just did my trial exam for this today and it was sooooo long! like all most of the questions asked "Describe FIVE factors and may affect...." there was even one question that asked to describe SEVEN. and we didn't do a lot of it in class either. i'm panicking about the HSC exam now!

My trial was basically last years paper... thank god i done it before hand!

i can scan it and send it through. i got 80, missed out a whole question and segments of a few.
