Who is doing eBusiness this year?

I wonder how many hours is it, and do we partially do the course with marketing students?

econ110 was like 4 or 5 hours i think...
mktg was like 3
stat was like 4
and comp115 was like 15...

I guess I'm stuck with extension maths, its my weakest subject, but that'll change. 27 hours is a lot, but oh well, as long as I made it.

its not hard getting a GPA of 2.0
all it is, are just passes in your 4 subjects in first semester.

you should try to take core accounting units. i'm not sure if ebus will let you do ACCG100.
you should take ECON110, STAT170 and ACST101.

yes you can do a mid year trasnfer, so long as you meet the GPA requirements.....

looks like most ppl is using this as stepping stone to other courses.......

i've searched the handbook, under the management elective, i dont see ECON110 and ACST101

http://handbook.mq.edu.au/programofstudy.php?edition=2005&code=EBUS03

which ones should i take from there? and btw, i heard theres limited places for B comm-accounting from my offer letter today...so does it mean it'll be harder to transfer later?

ok if you plan to transfer, do the common subjects both degrees your in and want to get in have... stat, mktg and econ
will be in commerce...
and for your forth see if you can do a subject in your soon-to-be transferred degree that you can get into with the pre-reqs

if you notice from the link, there are 7 core units, leaving 1 unit which for an elective which you could use for ECON110 or ACST101, provided you satisfy the pre-req.

At Macquarie, they (internally) operate under a different system from most other universities in NSW.

Hd & D = 4
Cr = 3
P = 2
PC = 1
F = 0

Therefore a Macquarie GPA would lie between 0.00 and 4.00.

In other university GPA systems, a GPA of 5.00 would equal to a Credit average, where
Hd = 7
D = 6
Cr = 5
P = 4
F = 0

You can't quite say a Macquarie GPA of 3 is equal to another university's GPA of 5 because Macquarie considers Hd and D one and the same. Consider at Macquarie, a person gets a Hd, D, D, Cr, they'd have a GPA of 3.75 - "almost D" average. Whereas at another university a Hd, D, D, Cr would give them a GPA of 6 - a D average.
