Stuff Black People Don’t Like (www.sbpdl.com) announces the 2011 “White Privilege” Scholarship Contest.
While the contest is open to everyone, the writer of the winning essay must be either a high school senior or a current college student pursuing an undergraduate, master’s, or doctorate degree.
The content of the essay must discuss what “White Privilege” means in a country governed by the principles of Black Run America (BRA).
The winning essayist will receive a scholarship of $1,500 (see below). Essays must be between 2,000 and 2,500 words and detail how “White Privilege” has helped them navigate Black Run America (BRA), where a plethora of race-based scholarships that exclude white applicants are available.
The writer of the winning essay will submit to a DNA test (paid for by SBPDL) to prove that their European ancestry meets or exceeds 90.
Essays written by individuals whose DNA proves not to meet or exceed the 90 percent European ancestry requirement will instead be eligible for the following prizes:
· Majority Black contestants will win a DVD copy of Remember the Titans
· Majority Asian contestants will receive a scholarship of $250
· Majority American Indian contestants will receive a DVD copy of Machete
