Ne1 knows where to view past hsc model essay answers?

The ones written by students on actual hsc exams and their marks.

It would be a great help for me, if anybody can offer it.

Note that the standard packages indicate responses from the borderline. e.g. Band 5/6 responses represent that this student falls in the borderline of a band 5 and 6. Better responses compare to that response will score a clear Band 6 mark (90+), and a poorer response will score a clear band 5 mark (89 and below).

The exemplary responses are those who have gained full mark.

They don't make them anymore after HSC 2003 because the Board of Studies believes that the "standards have been set". There is no need to further clarify what quality of work deserves what mark.

Yes I agree with you. It's hard to find a good book for it. It's difficult for a writer to compose a book covering all of the prescribed texts studied for ESL. This website still contains a lot of sample essays and exam papers for you to look at. Make use of your teacher! I can't emphasise this enough. Ask ask ask!!!
