Holy shit. You're a team leader as well. That is truely horrible.

Certainly is, I'm going to hit them up for a pay rise next time I work, even if they told us not to bitch about how much we get paid. The other team leaders are getting at least $11.00 an hour.

Forget it, places like that usually give very little scope to negotiate. You're better off looking for something else. The fact that you have been promoted quickly to a TL will look good for you.

Yeah I've been considering it. I think I'll wait it out until the end of the year and will work next year full-time somewhere else, since I'll hopefully have my licence early next year.

Although, it seems that I'm now out of a job. Our Pizza Hut franchise is being liquidated and if nobody buys it in the next few days, it closes and we all lose our jobs. Pretty shit.

Getting more hours at less pay doesn't make it OK, imo. Sounds like they're exploiting you a bit love. $8 isn't anywhere near minimum wage as far as I know either, but I'm not sure if minimum wage counts if you're part time...

I work for Target but not in a country store. Im just casual but i get 10.66 at age 17. But dont you agree Target is an awesome place to work at well at my store it is anyway 5040. People there are great.

i did have a job at cotton on body as a christmas casual. it was all unorganised and messed up though because my manager just randomly left one day and so they told me id still work during the year but i havent had a shift in 3 months..pretty crap.. but i still get discounts so i aint complaining =D im going for a new job. applied at boost, temt, valleygirl and about 5 different gloria jeans =P

oh yeah and i was payed $10.30 per hour. pretty good for a 16 year old
