i wish NUSA would stop getting me to vote for stuff.
FUCKING AY

They really got shitty at me a the library when I told them I didn't care.

So did my friends 'but unions protect us & shit...'

The chick with the poster of julia gillard on her wall was not happy.

This guy came in to our maths class trying to put on that NUS propaganda shit, and this guy got up and rebutted. After that, this guy asked the original guy what NUS actually did for us, and his only response was some shit about whinging to the government for more centrelink money.

The guy that rebutted then turned around said "how many of you actually heard of NUS before today?" *silence* "yeah, that's my point."

I don't pay union fees, so I don't really care, but it's funny watching all this srs uni politics.

I'm not going to vote for anything until I hear both sides.
So if only one side is evident, and voting is optional, then I'd rather not vote.
The guy outside the library got cut with me too when I told him I wasn't voting. Then as I was leaving some girl said she was voting 'no' and the same guy started yelling "no, don't do that! They're lying to you!"

I feel the same. My friends got up me 'but they protect students and look at all the campaigning they've done' but couldn't name anything.

Unions don't seem to do anything apart from funding wackjob societies like the medieval society and socialist alliance.

In other news the christians were giving out pancakes and inviting people to a lecture on 'the ultimate sex' (on the back of their card it said 'sex and jesus'). When I saw this I just called out 'GO BACK TO TREASURE ISLAND', the entire courtyard turned and stared in silence. Mad awkward.

yeah. all my friends were like "woo free pancakes!"
but i refused to get one on principle.

You were supposed to record ur student number so they could 'know how many they had fed'
but i reckon lots of people are gunna have their studentmail spammed.
Why would they need to know? they should just bless the pancakes and they'll have enough for everyone.

Sooo wouldn't mind going to their meeting tonight for the lulz.

Btw, another awesome thing about uncle: food at the zuki is mad a cheap.

'know how many they had fed'
Tally's are a sin now?

I personally hate the whole idea that they think they can win over non-christians with the theme of sex. Do they just sit around going "hey we should put "sex" in the title of one of our talks, cause non-christians are so lame, they just care about sex so they'd have to come!"?
