Summer sisters was fantastic, actually I was bored one day and finished it in one day. lol

But my longest book is Anna Karenina. It frightens me every time I look at my page number and realise how long I still have to read!

If you want something to see you through weeks - A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth.

I don't own a copy - but I think it's about 1400 pages. It's not that interesting in my opinion, too many songs and poetry when he isn't that talented. Some people adore it, most don't finish it. But it's definitely up there - particularly if you get a hardcover version.

Strange how some books that are thousands of pages long seem to be over before you start - yet something only a couple of hundred pages drags on for weeks.

I read Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix - but I guess that is sort of an easy read - so probably Angela's Ashes.

probably lotr, but darkfall (isobelle carmody was fairly big),
It also depends on what edition you read- the print and paper type.

Counting a full series as one book. Isaac Asimov's Foundation series (Plus the extras not by him).

Otherwise, I'm sorry to say it's probably HP&TOOTP. Some of the preludes to Dune are pretty long as well, And of course LOTR.
