I am the one
the fitzpatrick 4unit is absolute horseshit.

i reckon the best books for 4unit is either the extension 2 maths one by s.k patel or the terry lee one.

uh, thats a relative question.

do two at a time. any two should do.
try: fitz with cambridge
or
patel with cambridge
best is past paper questions though

Yea, two is good... I have four though,
Fitzpatrick (school)
Coroneos (school)
Coroneos Supp (school)
Patel (text, not Excel) (home)

Excel sucks, and Fitz isn't that great, Patel is great to get a solid understanding and the Coroneos' are great to get that extra edge in certain hard areas

You're drawing a long bow there dude, Fitz is good for conics and harder 3u, but not much else, while cambridge is good for just about everything.

obviously opinions vary greatly on the best 4u textbook. thers heaps out there. i personally find fitzpatrick a disappointment (the 2u and 3u ones are good tho), patel is alrite (excel is ok for the basics), coroneous (excuse spelling) is very very good (especially for integration), however u cant go past the two best ones, terry lee's Advanced Mathematics which has a shitload of solutions and Cambridge (the authors did wrote a couple of catholic trials)

Here's a question: How do you buy textbooks? They are a special type of book, and I've never seen a bookstore stock them. Also, their cost is around three times more than your "average" book, with some going above $100.

Also, I've heard Terry Lee doesn't sell his textbooks anymore, or something...?

The $100 textbooks I speak of are exclusively uni textbooks. :)

Kimmeh: PM.

Supra: I'm in year 11, yes. But I will be in year 12 in term four, so... I'm going to need it then. I'm just thinking ahead.

thats a matter of personal opinion because it depends on what mark you want or your career ambitions.

For me as a maths teacher in training, I found the Cambridge Maths book to be the best.
