Hey everyone, what’s the class of 06 doing for MDPs?

I'm designing and modelling a house out of recycled plastic, what about you?

what type of house are you taking about?! Are you talking about a house that could eventually be a real house, or a doll's house?

I do like the idea of recycling papaer though, just trying to find the need

no no a real house, and recycled plastic not paper. The need goes along the lines of using building resources (ie wood) at unsustainable rates so an alternative sustainable building material is needed, to which my answer is recycled plastic

lol, no, dont know if we have many class of 06 d+ters here yet...

but in regards to ur assignment, i advise u research and look into some of the "houses of the future"...theyre all out at homebush, they had a similar need stated and are made out of all different random materials....

yeah i went and saw that at teh end of last year, i actually thought it strange that they didn't inclide a plastic one. Do i include the fact that i went to the exhibition in the reasearch part of my folio? i'm guessing i probably should

yeah definately. It shows where your inspiration comes from and will be excelent in put in your development and evidence for the reason of your project!

thats cool, im also doing a model of a retail store that i designed in another subject (retail operations and business studies) i was just wondering where are u going to get recycled plastic from, this could be helpful information cos i dont know what im doing for the enviroment yet, thanks heaps

For my MDP I'm producing a youth focused street magazine focusing on positive/Christian youth culture within Sydney. As I do DT (Multimedia) at school, i guess its the best thing for me to do!

good work guys they are excellent ideas! if any of u need help or want me to answer questions l'm an 05 dnter and did " restoration/ recycling of a dressing table" took me ages but l managed to pull a band 6 pm me ok guys l would be interested to here how well ur projects go they sound awesome!
