For english essays in general, is 1000 words enough to get a decent mark? Cos I think that's about all I can manage in 40 mins

lol...what happened to quality over quantity....lol...i think the longer you can make it the more impressed the markers are....lol...but if its a really long essay full of shit then its just a good/bad as a shorter essay full of shit lol

yeah exactly...they'll be more impressed the longer it is! but yeh, i know quality is more important, but surely theres a minimum length that a "quality" essay must be to get good marks..?

thats what i try to aim all my pre planned essays at - 1000words... i can pretty much write that in 35min which gives me 5 mins worth of thinking and adapting to ques
