is the location of the two unis a primary reason for the dilemma?

Not being a wank here, but I actually heard UWS has a world-class Engineering faculty.

yer logically it shud be uts, since i received an accounting cadetship with a firm in the city. However, i've heard so much about the rep of unsw commerce, being the best in australia (i assume u've probably heard the same for engineering). im not really sure lol.

unsw is apparently the best for eng though.
That's why I chose UNSW inititially, but further research shows it's only good in a few fields of engineering. Plus the location is a shit, but if its significantly better than UTS then yeah ill go there lol.

i dont think yuo'd be able to get an unbias answer though. should do yuor own reasearch, look at the handouts etc.

i asked a few people who transferred from unsw to uts and vice versa, it deosn't seem to be that much of a difference which uni u go to after 2-3 yrs in the workforce.

Also Tommy, I don't think it really matters which Uni you go to. I don't thing 'prestige' of uni comes into play when potential employers sift through applicants for Engineering.

i would strong advise against going to UTS for business.
?

I've heard many great things about UTS' standing in terms of it's Business degree...are you being serious, or just trying to ignite an anxious fire in all of us, whilst we are having enough trouble trying to cope with the pressures of these upcoming exams? Heh..
