is it even possible to get a UAI of less then 50?
Don't they just give you an asterisk if you get less than 50?

They don't tell you your UAI if you get 30 or below. There is no pass or fail mark, but I think that a UAI in the low 60s is one in which you beat about 50% of the HSC students (since the UAI takes into consideration all of the students that completed year 10, regardless if they dropped out).

92.3 I'm pretty happy, SAM calculated a 2004 UAI of 91.7 so i was quite surprised to get over 92, i thought it'd go down...
I only need 91 to do combined chemical engineering and business at uni newcastle! (or 77 for uncombined engineering, lol)

Well done everyone!

ohhh right. Which is why there are people with 'name withheld' listed in the paper. This was the advice given to me by my year advisor and it worked.

And I'll scan my letter when I get it to dispell your accusations.
No need anymore, seeing as it's public knowledge that you're a phoney

Bravo, though! Given that you were formally congratulated in the BoS newsletter, this could be the biggest thing since the Sokal Affair ;).

HSC Results:

Business Studies; 82; Band 5
English Advanced; 71; Band 4
Mathematics; 75; Band 4
Mathematics Extension 1; 28; Band E2
Information, Processes and Technology; 85; Band 5
Information Technology; 72; Band 4

UAI = 72.35

I was hoping idealy for 80.

However, I'm applying to Uni of Newy, And I get 5 extra UAI points when applying because of being local and from a PSFP funded school, so my UAI will be 77.35 when applying.

My courses are 78.45 or sumthing for the highest of my preferences, and go down to 70.10 last year (Bach of Management at Ourimbah) so I should be right... unless it goes up more than 7.25 points. :D

So happy :D
