What to do if your teacher is like this? (1 Viewer)

Hello, my Adv. English teacher is a good teacher, however, I don't know if it's just me but I can see who she's already going to give the 90s to. Even if I or a couple of other students deserve it, she'll give it to the bunch she likes. Don't get me wrong, they're smart and all but what about the people who do try?
What do I do? I really do want a Band 6 in English!
Again I don't know if it's just me but yeah.

You're not going to be given more marks because "you tried hard so you deserve it". You will be given marks if your work meets the guidelines of the assessment/test/whatever.

Lol it's english - the most opinionated marking subject ever. The marks will be awarded to whoever the teacher likes most. If you feel like you've been really hard done by, take your assessment tasks to other english teachers and get them to mark it, and if there's a big gap, get them to complain on your behalf.

I know we're not going to get 90s if we try, I'm just saying, if we have better essays than the bunch she likes, she'll give it to them.
