Hey, I have ICAS for math, science, english, and digital technology the coming week and I'm just curious about the mark that would be needed to get a distinction or possible a high distinction. I know that your ICAS mark is based on ranking but I just want to know generally or roughly what is a good score for a distinction or HD range. Is there any distinction or high distinction achievers that could tell me what they got bc I'm just really curious right now. Thanks in advance

ICAS is relatively easy so for a HD aim for at least a 99 coz most ppl who do it do extremely well.

sometimes people manage to get a 90% and get a HD, but if u say 99 that's basically 100% which isn't very easy to do as u usually don't have enough time to check your answers due to the absurd time limit of english. IMO I think math and science are easy but the english is pretty difficult. My friend got 76% in English yet still managed to get a distinction, so I think its pretty difficult. But ultimately 100% is the goal.

i meant at least 99 for math since it’s like the easiest one there. it’s legit all just simple math. but for english i think an 80+and ur set since a lot of ppl don’t to that well in it

oh yeah I don't think u can get 99 for math tho since if u get 1 mark off the percentage drops to 97%, but the last 5 questions in math usually are somewhat difficult so some ppl do mess up there.

oh shit didn’t realise that lol, well i guess 97 then. minimum for a distinction in math would probably be 90. this is just an estimate but it seems like a safe spot.
