It varies greatly. I'm pretty sure commerce and law are among the cheapest to teach (the same as arts), yet they cost a lot more than an arts degree. On the other hand, science and nursing, etc. are very expensive to teach, but the student contributions are in the lowest bandsok so for most courses, on average HECS is about 25% of the full fees? thanks
