everyone listens to pop.

although a recent shift i've noticed is emo fags (MCR, PATD, etc) turning into indie fags (MGMT, killers, presets, kooks, kings of leon, etc).

the list hiphophooray123 posted above is pretty accurate, although imo scene fags and electrosexuals are intertwining trends.

there are also folk/indie pop fags too (josh pyke, jack johnson, the wombats, etc)

Depends, mainstream fags listen to whats on the radio and tv shows like rage and video hits basically talentless shit which when performed live sounds like well someone taking a shit i guess

Normal teens listen to rock(mostly older stuff to the occasional new band) ---> Metal (mostly older original metal such as iron maiden black sabbath --> metallica/megadeth---> nevermore---> trivium----> backstreet boys)

and all teens listen to the numa numa

So where do we go after the indie fag phase? Where's the next trend gonna be :p

And of course everyone listens to pop...that's why it's called pop.

all kids should listen to kanye west.

haha good one....yea he has some good songs...but hes another akon.....all the same...

about elvis....no one can like elvis alot BECAUSE, he simply relased a truckload of songs....and less face it....alot of it was him talking with music in the background.......

but we do like elvis for some songs....hound dong, always on my mind...

and ohter that are NOT ON MY MIND right now lol (pun intended)

ive noticed alot of teens dont know much about tom cochrane...

alot of his songs are so....directed at teens....only if u listen to the lyrics...

and so right...the radio must stop! they have to diversify their music a bit....i mean common....new isnt always the best now is it...

I listen to what hiphophooray123 listed, pop-punk, pop, jazz and techno mostly. I like some rock but I don't like guitar-heavy stuff. If it's got good drums I'll give it a go.

A few of my friends really like old rock but most of them just listen to whatever's on the radio.

um thats not every section, that's the stuff from the most mainstream sections i listed.

i just posted up common stereotypes, of course people are going to listen to a bit from this and a bit from that, that doesn't make you 'random'

I'm a semi-backpacker, mixed with Hip-Hop head.

I will listen to whatever I think sounds good.
So yes to some Pop, Rock, Electro etc.

R&B is just ass now.
90's R&B is the best.

im with you man im with you... some older house like felix da housecat, nina simone, stardust, phats and small (although im pretty clueless when it comes to the genre) is good to listen to as well. i also like my older jazz/soul records like nat king cole, al green, james brown to name just a few. 90s rock i will listen to occasionally if im in the mood. so im not as narrow minded as some might think when it comes to music. suprise suprise mother fuckers.

but on the topic of this thread chris has pretty much summed it up, teenyboppers have this fucking stupid trend which goes with the flavour of the month. and its funny how they dress differently for the occasion instead of how they dress normally (talking about festivals). clueless fucks wouldnt know shit if it smashed them in the face.

Yeah seriously what is with this festival bandwagon that teens are jumping on? I like how nova (the station which doesn't play most of the artists at a certain festival) are allowing listeners to send in photos, they are so down with the kids.
