I am doing civil engineering / surveying and the reasons that i chose my course were

A) I like maths / physics
B) I was a big lego / train set / constructing and designing stuff type of kid
C) Family history of engineering (father and grandfather)
D) Good job prospects upon graduation

yeah all Uni's have diploma of languages!
Or you could specialise in a language within B.Arts.
How about the BA (Languages) at Usyd? That's a degree devoted to the study of languages~

i chose a BA Vis Art because i love makin' both traditional and modern art (and playing with photoshop), and want to further develop the technical skills involved, as well as gain an understanding of art history and theory stuff...

so one day i can either create masterpieces, or work in a graphic design/publishing firm, or illustrate children's books... anything that involves drawing and designing :D

oh, and i chose Avondale because it has the course i want, a nice rural campus, small class sizes (and therefore a focus on quality, not quantity) and a really friendly on-campus lifestyle, good facilities... can't wait! :)

I chose communications because it sounded like a career that involved a combination of my skills and likes.... writing, investigating, debating, creativity, talking.... stuff like that!

I chose UTS because it's one of the best for communications, if not the best.... and it has a great location.... and I get to move away from Albury!

Chose Wollongong because it has pretty ponds, lots of ducks and I can spend 70 minutes on the train. My course, because I have no idea what the hell I'm gonna do with my life... (thus the liberal Arts/Science path..)
