i must think in english when i do esl listening or essay writting..etc,or i ll be sucked...
most of time think in mandarin
however i dream in both mandarin n english..or more languages..- -|||

Lol..hmm, that's an interesting question. I've lived in English speaking countries all my life - I speak the shanghai dialect at home, am alright in mandarin and taking french continuers.....and its weird because I realised at tthe beginning of this year....I don't exactly think in any language - weird, I know, but the more I took notice of it, the more I realised that whichever langauge I speak in, I reply to and understand in without needing to translate say, french into english or mandarin into shanghainese - I know really weird, I don't actually think in a specific language - I just think xD
