Interesting that you raise Kinsey, as you're right, his theory was that most people were a little bi (especially women), but it seems that most people are more attracted to one gender.
My understanding of Kinsey is that a perfectly Bi-sexual person is almost as rare and impossible as a perfectly homosexual or perfectly heterosexual person that almost anyone who identifies as bi-sexual, if you narrow it down specific enough, will have a slight preference. That's not to say valuable, worthwhile relationships aren't formed on the lesser preference or indeed that your "one true love" if you believe in such a thing doesn't fall on the side of the lesser preference.

I find it quite shocking how many people seem to have such a dismissive view of bisexuality. I mean, is it really that far-fetched to think that people may be attracted to more than one gender? If you think about how much variety there is in people's sexual activities, their tastes in men/women, their attraction to different body types, etc, then is it really that odd that some people may be attracted to both men and women?
