hmmm i basically want a good UAI.
that spurs me on enough at the moment
Haha thats basically it for me.
I've set myself a standard and I'm not going to lie- I am really competitive... I do like to do well at things and thats has motivated me from day 1 really.

1. My aimed UAI/course.
2. Clever students on BOS (99.99% of them, excluding myself )
3. Smart friends/competing with them.
4. Beating others in exams (#1 ranking is all I need :))
5. My tutor(s) and teacher(s).
6. Striving for awards and rep. from my teachers.

Honestly, beating other people. And not wanting to let down my teachers and parentals.
That's a really good motivation, can't believe it never occurred to me . I'll use that from now on.

Eh, it was bad, but not too bad; The doctor told my family in mid 06 that he didn't have long to live. Goddamn cancer. Anyway, cos I knew, I was more prepared to face it. The only regret I have about the matter was being unable to attend his funeral cos of HSC, which still bothers me now...

I don't really study, so when I start...
I guess it'll be so my 'potential' doesn't go to waste.

The "beating other people" is a good source of motivation.

I enjoyed beating people that studied so much harder / longer than I.

like other people have said, it's the UAI i want.

Bbut here's the thing, set urself a goal, something you really really want (more than want, it's a need) and convince urself that u will never get it if you dont study hard and try your best.

that's my stategy, atm its working lol

That & youve spent the last 13yrs schooling to gain an education, youve done countless assessmnts just because u ' had to ' when u cdve been doing better things, why waste the last year when it actually matters ? gotta make those 13yrs feel worth it :D
