This is what showed up on my payment slip along with my HECS...
Any ideas on what they are? Cos I have no clue...

• Uni Union Subs Full Time
• Upfront Waiver
• Sports Assoc Subs Full Time
• Stdnt Guild Subs Full Time

The "Upfront Waiver" is the 25% discount ....

The rest are general uni (student) fees

The "Full Time"s mean that they are the fees for a full time student.

1. Uni Union Subs Full Time
This pays for your union fees. The Union does things like run most of the food outlets, newsagents, the roundhouse, etc.

2. Upfront Waiver
I'm not sure how this works.

3. Sports Assoc Subs Full Time
The sports association runs all the sports clubs (eg. skiing club, bowling club, etc). It doesn't really run them per se, but it would subsidise them so it is cheaper for you to join.

4. Stdnt Guild Subs Full Time
The student guild is the SRC of uni. This also includes your $5 NUS payment. The Guild runs CASOC (the club for clubs), Tharunka (the student newspaper), student rights activities, etc.
