It's not too late to jump back up, u have trials plus other assessments, probably more then 50% left. Just keep going

my ranks in prelim english were pretty inconsistent.

2nd, =25th, 9th, 2nd. 5th overall.

quite the parabolic curve.

but some 4U maths kids came from absolutely nowhere and are pwning english [i.e. =1st].

Marks flunctuate. I jumped from 30th in Maths -> 15th -> and now 3rd place.

I was enrolled in Standard English in the beginning of Year 11, but I told the head teacher that I had so much potential I didn't use in Year 10. I was ranked 69th/120 students, which is quite bad since most people in Year 10 at my school were dropkicks. I also received a band 4 in the SC English!

Now, in Advanced, I rank top 3-10 out of 30 or 40 Advanced students (low band 6 at most based on previous years). But I aim to improve upon that since I crammed a lot for English this year (I know I can do so much better to push it higher, so you can too OP!) .

LOL your story is so inspirational . I'm in year 10 and I'm not doing as well as I could be in English. The fact that you're now coming in the top 3-10 out of 30 - 40 will inspire me to work harder
